<p>&ldquo;Masdan, O Yahweh&rdquo; is a collection of songs for peace and freedom, published by the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music. The work was written by various musical composers, collectively known as PATATAG, including the late National Artist for Music Francisco Feliciano, Jonas Baes, Ronnie Quesada, Aloysius Baes, Dodjie and Upeng Fernandez, Lucien Letaba, and the text by Rody Vera. The collection addresses pressing social themes, which deal with human rights such as militarization, poverty and the plight of internal refugees. With a distinctive blend of contemporary music grounded in traditional Asian influences, this collection seeks to engage the public in a conversation about artistic expression and social justice.</p><p>This work will feature the Ateneo de Manila College Glee Club, Ateneo ENTABLADO, and the Ateneo Martial Law Museum and Library Junior Fellows. It will be held on March 14 and March 15, 2025.</p>
