มิวสิคัลในตำนานที่ได้รับการขนานนามว่าเป็นผลงาน Cult Classic ยอดเยี่ยมที่สุดเรื่องหนึ่งในประวัติศาสตร์ และในปี 2018 นี้ Selladoor Asia Pacific ได้นำมิวสิคัลกลิ่นอายร็อกแอนด์โรลเรื่องนี้ขึ้นมาปัดฝุ่นทำโปรดักชั่นใหม่ในเวอร์ชั่นไทย และยังได้รับลิขสิทธิ์ระดับเฟิร์สคลาสซึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกในเมืองไทยอีกด้วย
ผู้บทประพันธ์เนื้อร้องและทำนองดั้งเดิมของเรื่องนี้คือสองคู่หูนักสร้างสรรค์ระดับตำนาน อย่าง Howard Ashman และ Alan Menken ผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังบทเพลงประทับใจของดิสนีย์หลายเพลง อาทิ Little Mermaid, Aladdin และ Beauty and the Beast แปลบทภาษาไทยโดย นรินทร์ ประสพภักดี ที่เคยฝากผลงานคุณภาพมาแล้วมากมายหลายเรื่อง อาทิ The Sound of Music เป็นต้น

Selladoor Asia Pacific presents, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, one of the best-selling cult classic Broadway Musicals of all time. The hit musical comedy is being presented with a new Thai translation as a first-class licensed production.

Little Shop of Horrors features music by legendary composer Alan Mencken and Book &amp; Lyrics by Howard Ashman, best known for their iconic Walt Disney film scores including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, all of which have earned them Academy Awards.&nbsp;

Thai book &amp; lyrics by Narin Prasoppakdee who has previously translated the Thai production of ‘The Sound of Music’.&nbsp;

Starring ‘Dome’ Jaruwat Cheawaram, ‘Lookwa’ Pijika Jittaputta and for the first time on stage, Chinawut Indracusin. Accompanied by many more talented musical theatre performers.&nbsp;

Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of Seymour, the assistant at Mushnik's Flower Shop in downtrodden Skid Row, who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers a strange and exotic plant. He names it Audrey Two in order to impress glamorous Audrey, the shop assistant he’s secretly in love with. But Audrey Two has a mind of its own, and soon grows into a bad-tempered, foul-mouthed carnivore with an appetite that can’t be satisfied. Seymour must keep the meals coming to stop his prized plant from wilting, but how far is he willing to go to get the girl of his dreams?
