But cheese and wine do not typically come to mind when singing the praises of the country&rsquo;s culinary traditions.&nbsp;A whole generation of cheese- and winemakers across Thailand are out to change that. Producers are making cheeses in all styles that run the gamut from creamy and fresh to pungent and aged that wouldn&rsquo;t be out of place on a classic cheese platter. To promote awareness of these locally sourced dairy products, Vivin Grocery will be announcing the details of a six-city Thai Cheese Tour, a roadshow that will highlight produce from around the country backed by high-profile chefs at each stop of the tour.&nbsp;Meanwhile, Thailand&rsquo;s winery&rsquo;s are also garnering attention, picking up prizes and an ever-growing following at home and abroad.&nbsp;To support these artisans, the FCCT is holding a cheese and wine tasting at the club. While we enjoy samples and refreshments, we will also be pleased to welcome the following guests who will talk about these excellent products and share them with the audience. Nicolas Vivin, co-founder and co-owner of Bangkok-based Vivin Grocery and creator of the Thai Cheese TourMimi Lohitnavy, from the wine-making family behind award-winning Granmonte Winery in Khao Yai&nbsp;Chef Amerigo Sesti&nbsp; of one-Michelin-star J&rsquo;aime in Bangkok where the first stop of the Thai Cheese Tour will be held Attendees will receive a free sample plate of cheese and a glass of Granmonte wine. Additional wine will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle at the club.&nbsp;Additionally during the event, cheese from Vivin Grocery will be available on our veg and non-veg cheeseburgers and on pizzas fresh out of our new pizza oven.
