The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) was founded in 1982 and operates under the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation (RBSOF), a non-profit organization under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. The chairman is Dr Harald Link. The foundation comprises the Royal Bangkok Symphony Music School (RBSS) and the Orchestra. Each part works with established and growing artists to pursue the foundation&rsquo;s main objective: to promote classical music, music education and other cultural activities.
