Saturday 26th of January, Vibrating Planet and Soulbar are happy to present to you a unique live musical experience of various cultural origins:
CHIBCHA AKA Oscar Jimenez – Electro folk from Colombia via Australia. 
Chibcha is an almost extinct language from Colombia spoken by the indigenous Muisca.&nbsp;
It’s also the producer alias name for Colombian born artist Oscar Jimenez (AMARU TRIBE).&nbsp;
 
Playing a combination of original material to tunes from his tropical homeland, Oscar creates new musical genres using mixing and looping techniques together with traditional and electronic soundscapes.
 
For this unique event, for the first time in Thailand, he will be joined by Katherine Gailer, artist, singer (Amaru Tribe, Katherine Gailer Art) percussionists Vincent Sebastian and Aykho Akhrif (Oyobi) accordionist, drummer Javier Rodriguez (Dela Cáye, The New MonoS) and local guests.
 
Oyobi, an Australian music project that incorporates the use of drum machines and samplers to create original and compelling analog-infused polyrhythms that explore the modern application of ancient folkloric traditions, will open the night.
 
Oyobi combines elements of Afrobeat, Latin, broken beat, and house, to merge electronica and live percussion. Featuring producer/percussionist Vincent Sebastian and special guest percussionist Aykho Akhrif, Oyobi brings its signature sound to Bangkok for the first time in a special minimal set.&nbsp;
