So he wrote a letter to his friend Eve in Isaan and asked her to call the rain gods. She launched a rocket, a Bung Fai custom, and rain arrived in Rome. They celebrated the wet day in Italy with food, drinks and dancing in the mud&mdash;and this cross-cultural experience is the spirit upon which this Wonder Feast is built.
